Isn’t Life Coaching the same as therapy or counselling?
Coaching isn’t therapy or counselling. These disciplines focus on the past, dealing with events,
trauma or feelings that are having a negative impact on the present. Coaching is generally only
concerned with the present and the future. We take a look at the past to see where your issues
may have come from, but then the focus is resolutely forwards, towards a Life Refreshed.
How quickly can I expect to see results?
Whatever the reason for you seeking coaching, you will usually begin to see some results quite
quickly. Wherever possible, we’ll aim for some ‘quick wins’ as this helps build confidence and
motivation. Ultimately, how long the process takes overall does depend on exactly what you want to
achieve and how committed you are to taking the necessary actions. Sometimes, a straightforward
choice or decision can be dealt with in one session but typically, 8-10 sessions is the minimum
required to ensure lasting change.
How will I know when I’ve had enough coaching?
Usually it is clear when coaching is reaching a natural end, either because you have achieved your
goals or because you are confidently working towards them and no longer feel in need of additional
support or motivation.
What happens if coaching doesn’t work?
Assuming that you are committed to making positive changes in your life, coaching WILL work.
How much will it cost?
Coaching represents excellent value when you consider the significant improvement it makes to

How do I find out more?
Call me on 01604 871087. After an initial chat, we’ll meet for a ‘Getting to Know You’ session. This
is free of charge and allows us to find out a little about each other and to decide if we will work well
together. You’ll be able to ask any questions you may have about Life Coaching and I can explain
the process. Assuming you are happy to go ahead, we’ll then agree a coaching schedule and start
focusing on your future.
